Venezuela blocks Binance access amid election dispute

Venezuela’s government has blocked access to Binance Exchange amid unrest over contested presidential election results, Cointelegraph reported. On Aug. 9, the local anti-censorship group VE sin Filtro reported on X that the country had imposed a DNS block on Binance, affecting access to the exchange’s website and app. Binance confirmed the restriction and reassured users that their funds remain secure.
