Galaxy Digital acquires additional $23.4M worth of BTC

On-chain analyst @ai_9684xtpa reported via an X post that digital asset and blockchain company Galaxy Digital is believed to have purchased an additional 400 BTC ($23.4 million) about half an hour ago. The firm had previously withdrawn a total of 6,950 BTC ($464 million) from Binance Exchange between July 27 and Aug. 2 at an average price of $66,776 per BTC. Subsequently, between Aug. 3 and 6, it redeposited 2,050 BTC ($112 million) back into the exchange. If this redeposited BTC were to be sold at current prices, Galaxy Digital could face a potential loss of $24.78 million, according to the post.
