Polygon Labs CEO: Polygon Aggregator to connect entire Web3 ecosystem

Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron told crypto-focused media Cointelegraph that its new Polygon Aggregator (AggLayer) is designed to connect all blockchain networks, including layer-1 (L1) networks like Ethereum and Solana. He explained that the AggLayer is part of Polygon 2.0, which also includes the Polygon CDK for achieving "infinite scalability." On Sept. 4, Polygon's MATIC token was upgraded to the new Polygon Ecosystem Token (POL), a "hyperproductive" asset aimed to support the network's growth and its broader vision of unifying the Web3 space.
