HUMBL secures U.S. patent for blockchain payment system

Blockchain firm HUMBL has been granted a patent by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for its blockchain-based currency transfer system, issued on Oct. 15. According to Cointelegraph, the system enables wallet-to-wallet transactions without intermediaries. The approval took over four years, exceeding the average patent processing time, which CEO Brian Foote noted can be challenging for small businesses due to legal costs and delays.
