Worldcoin rebrands as World Network, unveils World ID 3.0 and new AI-driven Orb device

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and co-founder Alex Blania announced at the New World event in San Francisco that Worldcoin, now rebranded as World Network, will release a new Orb device with enhanced AI capabilities to enable faster World ID verifications. The event also introduced World ID 3.0, which now includes World ID Credentials, allowing users to store passport data and combat online fraud using Deep Face technology. Additionally, the World Chain mainnet launched, prioritizing human transactions.
