Craig Wright sues Bitcoin Core and Square for $1.18B, claiming BSV is the real Bitcoin

Craig Wright has launched a new legal battle, alleging that Bitcoin developers deviated from the original vision of Bitcoin and insisting that Bitcoin SV (BSV) is the true Bitcoin, Decrypt reported. Wright is seeking over $1.18 billion in damages, representing the market valuation difference between BTC and BSV. He argues that upgrades like SegWit and Taproot misled the public and caused market confusion. This lawsuit follows Wright’s previous failed claim to be Bitcoin's creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.
