Coinbase requires Tron to pay $80M in TRX as listing fee: Justin Sun

Brian Armstrong, co-founder of the Coinbase crypto exchange, recently wrote on X that token listings on Coinbase are free. In response, Tron founder Justin Sun argued in an X post that it is free to list TRX on Binance, while noting that Coinbase has required Tron to pay $80 million in TRX as the listing fee and demanded Tron to deposit $250 million worth of BTC into Coinbase Custody to boost their performance.
