U.S. court sentences Bitfinex hack mastermind to 5 years in prison

A U.S. court has sentenced Ilya Dutch Lichtenstein, the husband of rapper Heather Morgan (Razzlekhan), to five years in prison for laundering $4.5 billion in stolen funds from the Bitfinex hack, according to Tree News on X, citing Bloomberg. In October, prosecutors from the Department of Justice (DoJ) had requested a five year prison sentence for Lichtenstein.
