Metaplanet launches shareholder benefit program with rewards worth over $200K in Bitcoin

Metaplanet, a Japanese publicly listed company that holds Bitcoin as a primary asset, has partnered with crypto exchange SBI VC Trade to launch a shareholder benefit program, offering 30 million yen ($201,000) worth of Bitcoin to its shareholders, CoinGape reported. To be eligible for these rewards, shareholders must open a new account with SBI VC Trade between Nov. 18, 2024, and March 31, 2025, and hold at least 100 shares of Metaplanet stock as of Dec. 31.
