35% of BSC blocks hit by sandwich attacks on December 1

Decrypt, citing data from Dune Analytics, reported that 35.5% of BNB Smart Chain (BSC) blocks were impacted by sandwich attacks on Dec. 1. These attacks manipulate the mempool (memory pool) by inserting a victim's transaction between the attacker’s buy and sell orders, artificially inflating the token price for profit. The data reveals that 43,400 transactions were impacted, with a total trading volume of more than $1.5 billion. Binance has not yet provided a statement on the issue.
