Spot Solana ETF launch 'a matter of when -- not if' under Trump's SEC, says Bloomberg analyst

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart recently said on X that the launch of spot Solana ETFs is “a matter of when -- not if” under a new U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) chair, appointed by President-elect Donald Trump. Reports indicate that Trump has nominated former SEC Commissioner Paul Atkins, who is known for his favorable stance on cryptocurrencies, as the next SEC chairman. However, Seyffart noted that this does not necessarily mean the launch will occur soon.
