The spot Solana ETF applications filed by four issuers, VanEck, 21Shares, Canary and Bitwise, will usher in their first review deadline by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Jan. 25, 2025, Odaily reported, citing Bloomberg Terminal data. The 19b-4 filings of these four institutions were officially accepted by the SEC on Nov. 21 this year. According to the approval process, the SEC needs to make an initial decision within 45 days of acceptance, and these filings could be approved, denied or extended. In addition, Grayscale has also filed an application to convert Solana Trust into an ETF, with its first review deadline scheduled for Jan. 23, 2025.
