Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), one of the largest venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, released a report predicting trends in the cryptocurrency industry in 2025. The report cited AI agent-powered wallets, decentralized autonomous chatbots and identity verification solutions as industry trends. It also claims that stablecoins are expected to gradually replace everyday credit card transactions. As the infrastructure matures and tokenization becomes possible in various fields, more assets are expected to appear on-chain, the firm believes. Governments of each country will also consider the option of issuing on-chain government bonds, it added.
