Tokenized holographic Charizard card set for auction on Polygon

A first-edition holographic Charizard card from 1999, graded PSA 10 and valued at $250,000, will be tokenized on the Polygon network and auctioned by Courtyard, according to Decrypt. Stored securely in a Brink's vault, the auction aims to highlight blockchain's role in collectibles, offering features like on-chain ownership, secure storage and global trading. Physical redemption is available for card owners. Similar cards have sold for $264,000 to $400,000 since 2020.
