Marinade proposes measures to democratize MEV on Solana

Marinade (MNDE), a self-custodial automation tool for staking on the Solana (SOL) blockchain, is discussing proposals aimed at mitigating the impact of malicious validators and democratizing maximal extractable value (MEV). MEV refers to the maximum value that block producers, such as miners or validators, can extract through actions like including, reordering or excluding transactions in new blocks. The proposals include creating a public committee to oversee delegations, reopening the public mempool and allocating funds for Solana MEV research to enhance transparency and data availability.
