Long-term BTC holders sell 843K BTC since September: CoinDesk

Since September, long-term Bitcoin (BTC) holders have sold 843,000 BTC, while short-term holders accumulated over 1 million BTC, according to CoinDesk. MicroStrategy and U.S. spot ETFs each acquired around 200,000 BTC during the period. Bitcoin’s total trade volume has surged past $100 billion, driven by futures, spot and ETF activity, following Donald Trump’s U.S. election win. Analysts suggest BTC needs reduced selling pressure from long-term holders or larger buyers entering the market to break above the $100,000 level.
