Market predicts 98.8% chance of Fed rate cut

CME's "Fed Watch" data indicates a 98.8% probability that the Federal Reserve will announce a 25 basis point rate cut at 3 a.m. on Dec. 19. The likelihood of maintaining rates at 4.5%-4.75% stands at just 1.2%.
