Sonic Labs to launch Sonic Gateway in coming days

Layer-1 blockchain Sonic Labs (formerly Fantom) announced via its official X account that the Sonic Gateway will be launched within the next few days, enabling the bridging of Ethereum (ETH)-based assets, including USDC, EURC and WETH. Ten hours ago, Sonic Labs officially launched its mainnet. According to its previously released white paper, the native token "S" has a total supply of 3.175 billion tokens, comparable to Fantom's native token, FTM. The project plans to allocate 6% of the initial token supply for an airdrop six months after launch, with vesting unlocks for the airdrop set to begin nine months after the airdrop.
