Report alleges Trump's displeasure with Ripple execs, links to Harris campaign fundingCrypto media outlet Unchained reported that according to Axios, U.S. President-elect Donald Trump expressed dissatisfaction with representatives of an unnamed company for not supporting him during his campaign, hinting they may have supported Vice President Kamala Harris instead. Unchained sources identified the company in question as Ripple, which was not specified in the Axios report. A CNBC report from October noted that Ripple's co-founder, Chris Larsen, contributed over $11.8 million to PACs supporting the Harris campaign, making him a major donor within the crypto industry. Meanwhile, responding to the story on X, Ripple's Chief Legal Officer, Stuart Alderoty, said, “Wow, unnamed sources? Here’s a named source: me. The rumors published by this 3rd-tier crypto rag are pure fiction. Completely made up.”
