Deutsche Bank predicts bullish Bitcoin outlook for 2025

Deutsche Bank, Germany's largest commercial bank, stated in a report that Bitcoin's (BTC) outlook for this year is positive, according to CoinDesk. The German lender attributes the bullish forecast to a more favorable regulatory environment in the U.S. under President Trump, increased institutional adoption, and a looser Federal Reserve monetary policy. The bank anticipates that clarity about forming a strategic bitcoin reserve could emerge in the first quarter. Analyst Marion Laboure states that the Trump administration's crypto support is crucial for the continuation of the market's current bull run. While no crypto executive orders were signed on Trump's first day, the U.S. SEC's move to craft a regulatory framework for digital assets is considered a positive step. The appointment of Paul Atkins as SEC chair further signals a shift towards an innovation-friendly approach. Additionally, with the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation now in effect in the EU, the European crypto market benefits from increased legitimacy and security, the report notes.Log in to leave comments!
