Bybit CEO estimates crypto liquidations could reach $10B

Bybit Exchange co-founder and CEO Ben Zhou stated on X that total crypto futures liquidations could be between $8 billion and $10 billion, significantly higher than the widely reported $2 billion. He noted that Bybit's actual 24-hour liquidation data was $2.1 billion, while Coinglass only recorded $333 million due to API limitations. Zhou added that other exchanges follow similar practices but pledged that Bybit will begin pushing all liquidation data for greater transparency.
