Lejilex and SEC seek delay in court proceedings

February 11, 2025, 8:49 PM
Texas cryptocurrency company Lejilex and the SEC have jointly filed a motion in a Texas court to postpone oral arguments scheduled for February 20 and delay decisions on motions until April 11, 2025. The request cites new SEC leadership and the ongoing work of the agency's crypto task force, which could help resolve the case. Lejilex initially sued the SEC in February 2024, alleging jurisdictional overreach on digital assets, Fox Business reporter Eleanor Terrett reported on X.
