zkLend seeks hacker’s return of stolen 3,300 ETH, offers 10% bounty
February 12, 2025, 3:34 AM
In a recent X post, zkLend (ZEND), a decentralized lending protocol built on Starknet (STRK), which had temporarily suspended its withdrawal feature due to an exploit, offered a 10% white-hat bounty to the hacker. The protocol has requested that the hacker return 90%, or 3,300 ETH, of the stolen funds, excluding the bounty, to a specified Ethereum (ETH) address. Upon receiving the transfer, zkLend assured that no further liability would be assigned regarding the attack. zkLend is currently collaborating with regulatory authorities on the matter and has warned that if no response is received by 00:00 UTC on Feb. 14, punitive measures will be pursued.
