Former SEC Enforcement Director: SEC’s Crypto Unit ‘unofficially dead’

John Reed Stark, the former director of the Securities & Exchange Commission’s (SEC’s) Internet Enforcement Division, said via X that the SEC’s Crypto Unit is unofficially dead and buried. He added that the SEC has removed “Crypto Assets and Cyber Unit” from LinkedIn and replaced it with “Cyber & Emerging Technologies Unit.”
