Ross Ulbricht: Ver shouldn’t spend life in prison over taxes

Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the defunct Silk Road dark-web marketplace, pardoned by President Donald Trump, has taken to X to address a matter concerning former Bitcoin.com CEO Roger Ver. He said that nobody should be sentenced to life for tax issues. He suggested that Ver should pay any taxes owed and “be done with it.” Ulbricht added that Ver helped him when he needed help. Ver is accused of $50 million in tax evasion.
