OpenSea's market share soars to 71.5% after SEA token launch announcement

NFT marketplace OpenSea has experienced a remarkable rebound, with its Ethereum (ETH) NFT marketplace volume share climbing to 71.5% this past week from just 25.5% four weeks ago, as reported by The Block. This boost in market share aligns with the launch announcement of its SEA token on Feb. 13. Following this announcement, OpenSea's average daily trading volume jumped to $17.4 million, significantly higher than the $3.47 million recorded in the days leading up to the revelation of the token plan.
