US senators urge SEC to enable staking on crypto ETFs

A group of U.S. senators sent a letter to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) urging it to add staking functionality to cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs), according to CoinDesk. The letter was written under the leadership of Senator Cynthia Lummis, with support from other Republican senators and two Democratic Party lawmakers.
