Custodia Bank CEO slams U.S. for blocking crypto firms from banking access
March 03, 2025, 2:22 PM
Custodia Bank CEO Caitlin Long criticized the U.S. government for deliberately restricting crypto firms’ access to banking services, according to FinanceFeeds. She warned that this lack of action forces innovative companies to move overseas and threatens the country’s leadership in financial technology.
Long also highlighted that over half of U.S. crypto firms reported banking difficulties in 2024, up from 34% in 2022. Despite growing global competition, U.S. regulators continue to pressure banks to avoid crypto, leaving businesses with limited options.
