Cronos faces opposition to reissue 70B burned CRO tokens

Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain Cronos (CRO) has proposed reissuing 70 billion CRO tokens that were burned in 2021. Decrypt reported that the majority of early voters oppose this idea. During the early voting phase, 16 of the 100 active validators participated, and about 95.7% of the voting power, representing around 673 million CRO tokens, voted against the proposal. Only 3.45% supported it.
