CZ: Missing early ETH was a "missed opportunity" but led to Binance

Former Binance Exchange CEO Changpeng Zhao (CZ) reflected on missing Ethereum’s (ETH) early rise, calling it a “missed opportunity” but suggesting it may have motivated him to launch Binance and BNB. CZ recalled meeting Vitalik Buterin in 2013 and questioning Ethereum’s vision of a Turing-complete blockchain. Despite knowing about Ethereum’s ICO in 2014, he did not invest significantly. He added that while BNB initially launched as an ERC-20 token, he only holds small amounts of ETH from early days.
