A New Hampshire House committee approved the U.S. state's Bitcoin reserve bill (House Bill 302) in a 16-1 vote on March 5, Cointelegraph reported, citing the Bitcoin Laws media outlet. The bill now moves to a full House vote. If passed, it would allow the state treasurer to allocate up to 5% of certain state funds into digital assets with a minimum $500 billion market cap—a criterion currently met only by Bitcoin—as well as precious metals like gold, silver and platinum.
