U.S. and allies shut down Garantex crypto exchange domains

Law enforcement in the U.S., Germany and Finland seized domains linked to sanctioned Russian exchange Garantex, citing its role in money laundering. The United States Department of Justice also charged two administrators, while Garantex reportedly processed $96 billion in crypto transactions since 2019, according to The Block.
