BTC dominance sees longest sustained rise since 2022

On-chain data platform IntoTheBlock reported on X that Bitcoin's (BTC) dominance—its share of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization—has steadily risen since 2022, marking its longest period of continuous growth. However, BTC's share of active users has declined as on-chain activity shifts to Ethereum and other layer-1 networks. According to CoinMarketCap data, BTC's dominance currently stands at 61.1%.
