North Korean hackers laundered about $242 million of funds stolen from Binance on the Tron network over two days, The Block reported, citing on-chain analyst SomaXBT.
The hackers were able to move about $249 million, excluding 378.7 million USDT frozen by Tether, and around $194 million of that was transferred to other networks through cross-chain bridges and swap services, according to the analysis. The main routes were Relay ($48 million), THORChain ($44 million), Chainflip ($32.1 million) and Symbiosis ($16 million). The FBI identified the North Korean hacking group TraderTraitor as being behind the attack and urged the industry to block transactions involving related addresses.

On-chain analyst Darkfost pushed back against macroeconomics expert Henrik Zeberg’s bearish Bitcoin outlook, arguing the call lacks credibility.
Zeberg had said BTC could rebound to $115,000, but described the move as only a temporary "Fool's Rally" during a broader bear market rather than the start of a new bull cycle, with a severe crash to follow. Darkfost said Zeberg’s view implies BTC would fall below $16,000 based on a break below a chart trendline and support on the relative strength index, or RSI. Darkfost also criticized the Elliott Wave analysis behind the forecast, saying it makes no sense to project wave C falling three times more than wave A.

Binance founder Changpeng Zhao thanked the U.S. Secret Service, law enforcement agencies and industry participants for helping trace and freeze stolen funds within minutes of a recent hack worth more than $6 billion, adding that the effort remains ongoing.
In a post on X, Zhao said the swift response and professionalism helped contain the damage and reduce risks that could have spread beyond the crypto market into traditional financial markets. Zhao added that the U.S. Secret Service is continuing its investigation into the Binance hack.

Bitcoin staking protocol b14g was hit by a hack that drained around 97 million CORE worth $1.5 million, The Block reported. According to blockchain analytics firm Bitquery, the attacker sent requests setting the withdrawal amount to zero for 91 staking positions the attacker did not own. On the Core network, staking code treats a zero withdrawal amount as a full withdrawal, and losses occurred as b14g failed to block those requests. b14g said it has temporarily paused the related contracts, with about 68 million stolen CORE still on the Core network and about 9 million frozen at exchanges.

Binance recorded $2.51 billion in net cryptocurrency outflows from addresses tracked by DefiLlama on Nov. 1 as the exchange gradually resumed withdrawals after a hack, CryptoSlate reported. By asset, net outflows totaled $1.083 billion in USDT, $912 million in BTC, $385 million in USDC and $131 million in wrapped Ethereum.
Binance has been sequentially restoring withdrawals across 15 blockchain networks after security checks following a $6.3 billion hack. However, the exchange also introduced new wallets to process withdrawals, making it difficult to interpret the full observed net outflow as customer fund flight.

Cross-chain interoperability protocol THORChain said it halted trading across multiple blockchains after an Ethereum block reorganization on Oct. 31 caused 10 ETH that had not been deposited into a vault to be refunded. The user returned the 10 ETH, restoring the vault’s solvency. Core developers are working on the necessary fixes, and node operators will decide whether to resume trading once each chain is deemed safe.

Bloomberg Intelligence macro strategist Mike McGlone, citing a recent report, said Bitcoin’s disappointing "dud" performance against U.S. Treasuries since late 2024 may signal that its prime has passed.
McGlone said Bitcoin may be losing ground to U.S. government bonds at a critical turning point, with broad implications across asset classes. Using a baseline of 100 at the end of 2024, he said the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) is showing signs of weakening against the iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT). As of Oct. 30, the IBIT/TLT ratio stood at 81 and has failed to stay above the 100 baseline since the fourth quarter of 2025, even though IBIT has shown roughly four times the volatility of TLT, he said. McGlone added that 2024 marked a watershed year with the launch of U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs and President Donald Trump’s shift from a crypto opponent to an enthusiastic supporter. He said Bitcoin’s underwhelming performance versus U.S. Treasuries since then could be a sign that its peak era is over. McGlone also said U.S. Treasuries are among the most broadly leveraged markets in the world, and their roughly two-year outperformance against Bitcoin could foreshadow what lies ahead if Bitcoin remains below $80,000.
