Ripple CLO: SEC dropping appeal puts Ripple in control

Ripple's chief legal officer (CLO,) Stuart Alderoty, said the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's (SEC) decision to drop its appeal strengthens Ripple’s position and sets a key precedent for the U.S. crypto industry. He added that Ripple will now assess its approach to a cross-appeal but emphasized that today is a victory worth celebrating.
