Coinbase leads Ethereum staking with 11.42% share and 99.75% uptime

Coinbase Exchange has become the largest node operator on the Ethereum (ETH) network, holding 11.42% of staked ETH, equivalent to 3.84 million Ether valued at about $6.8 billion, according to a Coinbase report cited by Cointelegraph. The exchange's validators achieved an uptime and participation rate of 99.75%, exceeding network averages. Despite being a centralized platform, Coinbase distributes its validators across multiple regions, including Japan, Singapore, Ireland, Germany and Hong Kong, to support Ethereum’s decentralization.
