Amitis Capital executive: Now is the best time to invest in crypto hedge funds

Chris Solarz, chief investment officer at Amitis Capital, told CoinDesk in an interview that now is the best time to invest in cryptocurrency hedge funds. He explained that the cryptocurrency market is still in its early stages, meaning that profits can still be made by utilizing the strategies from the early days of the hedge fund industry. In particular, he referred to strategies that were too commoditized in traditional finance and did not work are effective in the cryptocurrency market. Solarz pointed out that out of 20 cryptocurrency asset management companies that he recently met with, he deemed 19 of them as unqualified to entrust his funds to, having assessed that most of them were young and had no real asset management experience. Solarz also predicted that Bitcoin could surpass gold in terms of market capitalization within the next 10 years.
