SEC ends investigation into ‘Hawk Tuah’ memecoin project

Haliey Welch, famous for the “Hawk Tuah Girl” meme, announced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has concluded its investigation into the HAWK memecoin project. According to Watcher Guru on X, she said that the regulator will not pursue any charges or financial sanctions against her or her memecoin project. When launched, the HAWK token soared to a market cap of about $490 million, but then plummeted by more than 90% in a matter of hours.
