APM Coin holds vote on token rebrand to 'VIP' amid expansion plans

Blockchain-based payment platform APM Coin announced through Medium blog that it has launched a governance vote on whether to rebrand its existing ERC-20 token to “VIP,” a BEP-20 token on the BNB Chain. The proposal cites limitations in the current apM token’s branding and aims to support broader use cases and integrations. If approved, users would undergo a 1:1 token swap with no lockup, while the project’s reserved assets would be redistributed over a 24-month period. The vote runs from April 4 to 11 on Snapshot.box and requires over 50% on-chain approval to pass.
