The U.S. House Financial Services Committee has advanced the Stablecoin Transparency and Accountability for a Better Ledger Economy (STABLE) Act, moving it to the full House for further consideration, CoinDesk reported. While the bill marks a significant step toward stablecoin regulation, Democrats have raised concerns over potential conflicts of interest, particularly regarding President Donald Trump’s ties to World Liberty Financial (WLFI) and its USD1 stablecoin.
