Jack Dorsey’s Block plans Bitcoin payments for Bitkey and Square

Jack Dorsey confirmed that Block is working on integrating Bitcoin payments into Bitkey and Square, though no launch date was given, according to Crypto Briefing on X. Bitkey, launched in late 2023, is Block’s self-custody Bitcoin wallet. The company is also expanding its focus on Bitcoin mining after developing a 3nm mining chip, while scaling back efforts in other areas like Tidal and TBD.
