Crypto Fear & Greed Index rises three points to 28, entering ‘Fear’

The Crypto Fear & Greed Index, provided by software development platform Alternative, stands at 28 as of April 4, up three points from the previous day. Amid improved sentiment, the index shifted from the "Extreme Fear" zone to the “Fear” zone. The index ranges from 0 to 100 where 0 signifies extreme fear and 100 indicates extreme greed in the crypto market. The fear and greed index takes into account six different factors: volatility (25%), market momentum/volume (25%), social media (15%), surveys (15%), Bitcoin dominance (10%) and Google Trends (10%).
