Haru Invest customer sentenced to five years for knife attack on CEO during fraud trial

Mr. Kang, a South Korean, has been sentenced to five years in prison in his first trial for attempted murder and disrupting court proceedings after attacking Mr. Lee, the CEO of digital asset management platform Haru Invest, during Lee’s fraud trial, according to Digital Asset. Kang, a Haru customer, stabbed Lee in the neck five times with a fruit knife on Aug. 28 of last year.
