Ripple to acquire Hidden Road for $1.25B

Ripple announced it will acquire prime brokerage firm Hidden Road for $1.25 billion, marking its largest acquisition to date, according to CNBC. The deal strengthens Ripple’s infrastructure as it expands into traditional finance, allowing Hidden Road to use Ripple’s RLUSD stablecoin as collateral.
