April 17, 2025, 11:30 AM
JPMorgan analysts pointed out that gold is benefiting from safe-haven demand, while Bitcoin (BTC) continues to lag behind. In a report dated April 16, cited by The Block, they noted that gold is seeing strong inflows across both ETF and futures markets, fueled by macroeconomic uncertainty. In fact, global gold ETFs recorded $21.1 billion in net inflows during Q1 2025. Bitcoin, on the other hand, has seen a pullback from futures traders, along with three straight months of ETF outflows.
