Trump doesn't want higher tariffs: Reuters

U.S. President Donald Trump hinted at a possible end to the escalating tariff confrontation with China, telling reporters at the White House, "I don't want them to go higher because at a certain point you make it where people don't buy," according to Reuters. He added that he might even lower the tariffs, noting that higher costs will sooner or later hurt consumer demand.
