April 23, 2025, 6:25 AM
Ethereum (ETH) surged more than 13% over the past 24 hours, briefly reclaiming the $1,800 level and recovering from a sharp decline in market dominance, Cointelegraph reported. According to TradingView data, ETH dominance fell to 7% on April 22, its lowest since September 2019, before rebounding above 7.5% on April 23. Crypto trader Rekt Capital noted that ETH dominance held a key support level at its 2019 low. Markus Thielen, CEO of 10x Research, said ETH was technically oversold and identified the upcoming Pectra mainnet upgrade as a key driver of the recent rally. ETH is trading at $1,794.58, up 13.55%, according to data from CoinMarketCap.
