April 23, 2025, 1:11 PM
According to meeting minutes released by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Crypto Task Force on April 22, El Salvador’s National Commission on Digital Assets (CNAD), U.S. law firm Perkin Law Firm and former Goldman Sachs partner Heather Shemilt have submitted a proposal for a cross-border regulatory sandbox collaboration. The proposal aims to drive global regulatory innovation in the digital asset sector by creating an experimental environment where the SEC can work in real time with other national regulators using shared data. This initiative is intended to offer practical insights that support the development and refinement of a U.S. digital asset regulatory framework.
