'Every American should be able to access crypto staking,' says Coinbase CEO

Brian Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange, wrote in an X post that all Americans should be allowed to engage in crypto staking. According to Coinbase on X, while the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and five states have dropped staking-related suits, crypto users living in California, New Jersey, Maryland and Wisconsin have not been able to receive over $90 million in staking rewards since June 2023. The exchange will continue to strive to ensure that more users in the U.S. could receive staking rewards.
