Japan's Metaplanet issues $24.7M in bonds for additional BTC purchase

Metaplanet, a Japanese publicly listed company known for investing in Bitcoin (BTC), shared on X that it has resolved to issue 3.6 billion yen ($24.7 million) in zero-percent ordinary bonds to purchase additional BTC. As of now, the firm holds a total of 5,000 BTC.
